Wasp and Ants

Spring for Utah this year is rather here and there. Tomorrow, the high should be maybe 39. Next week it should be in the 70s again. Maybe, we can plant the garden. It still snows from time to time.
Today, with it in the 60s, the little one's and I got out and picked up the zillion sticks that our Crooked Weeping Willow Tree drops - we were told by the previous owners that it is a 'self-pruning' tree. Self-prune it does - 2 bag fulls this time - that's what the little one's picked up. Miss O is great at helping. The branches needed to be squished down inside the bag - so she would have Michael climb on her back (piggyback) and carefully place him in the trash can so he could break the branches.
We have this unkept area in the front that has a ton of weeds there - so today I decided to use the weed eater to clip them. A silver round fence post needed to be moved behind the shed. Miss O picked it up to take it there. To her surprise! A huge ant colony dumped out of it onto the sidewalk. At least a million of the creepy crawling insects on the sidewalk. They now reside in heaven.
Right before going inside, a wasp decided to perch on the back of my arm - it didn't seem to mind my protest or swishing it away - it lingered, but didn't sting me. Then it was gone.
