In my in-laws kitchen, hangs a sign "Life is short, eat dessert first." I live by their wisdom! I love good sweets. Just because there is sugar within the product, doesn't make it good! Yesterday, the kids watched and drooled as fudge, christmas cookies and brownies were made!
During the summer of '89, my Dad worked over in Scotland and we went over there with him. What a summer it was! Scotland was great and so was the endless supply of chocolate truffles! Oh, I sure miss those!! This Christmas, I am going to try my hand at making truffles, they won't be the same as the ones in Scotland, but I will give it my best....
